Halloween

2 Nov

Happy Halloween!  Collin and I decorated my Mom’s squash…

And here’s mine and Collin’s Jack-o-lantern (Thanks Christa!).

Collin and I had very home-grown costumes.  I was a colorful fairy, spring fairy, what have ya. Collin was obviously a ghost…obvious, right?  My mom and I sewed up some old t-shirts of Chase’s to make this ghostly creation.  (Yeah, up until its reincarnation, Chase was wearing that very holey shirt.)  The yellow skirt on me started out as a tanktop! (Thanks for your sewing expertise, Mother!)

Collin has LOVED Halloween.  Seriously.  We have watched Nightmare Before Christmas a million times (and counting).  He especially loves the songs from the movie.  He thinks the ghosts, witches, pumpkins, skeletons, and all are just jolly fun.

We took Collin trick-or-treating up and down my Mom’s street.  It was a bit of fun and Collin loved it.  He was such a cutie-pie!

Ready for a night out!  To Woody’s for some music by the Crafty Bastards.  Chase went last year (we didn’t dress up), but he was NOT interested in going again.  Luckily, he so kindly let me go, because I had a fun time!

See…me having fun.  I came to dance!
